Rihanna lived a normal teenage life in the Barbados, went to high school and enjoyed singing songs for fun with friends, never did she dream that one day she would be part of one of the biggest record companies out there today.
Even though Rihanna won her school beauty & talent pageant she never realized how talented she really was. Thanks to a mutual friend, she was introduced to a New York music producer and it took her just a few songs before he realized that she one day will be a great singer. He invited Rihanna to New York to record some tracks, tracks that would change her life forever.
After releasing her first song from her debut album Music In The Sun, "Pon De Replay" was guaranteed to be a hit and with this song alone she won over bucket loads of music fans, as well as setting herself for the future.
Rihanna's continued her monstrous success with her third album, the first-rate dance-pop Good Girl Gone Bad.
Rihanna rocking the mic on tour with Gwen Stefani, making crowds sweat in Japan, posing for magazine covers in Los Angeles and shooting her first film role for Bring It On Yet Again. This was a long way from the quiet life she led in Barbados in the parish of St. Michael.
